The Happiness Challenge
Hello happiness seekers! I’m Klaudia Mitura, and I’m on a mission to explore the best happiness habits that science has to offer.
Like so many others, the pandemic cut me off from family and work — so I decided to use my training as a psychologist to discover what science can tell us about the art of happiness.
What I found set me on a path to joy — and now I’m sharing my journey with you. Each month I publish linked episodes where I speak to a leading expert, put their tips to the test, and share my findings (and feelings).
From mindfulness to exercise and random acts of kindness, I’ll be shining a light on the simple happiness habits that can bring more joy to our lives.
So join me as I embark on this challenge — and together we can become more successful, resilient, and happy.
Klaudia is a work psychologist, Chief Happiness Officer, and the Learning and Development Manager at the Science Museum Group in the UK. In September 2025 she published The Alphabet of Happiness — available to order now:

Stats: Statistics are produced by Captivate to help The Happiness Challenge to understand how many downloads it is getting, or how many people are listening. Your device’s IP address and user agent is used to help calculate this figure. Captivate is IAB v2 certified. Here is more detail about podcast statistics.
Dynamic content insertion: Captivate may use limited data that they know about you - the device you’re using, the approximate location you’re in, or other data that can be derived from this, like the current weather forecast for your area - to change parts of the audio. The Happiness Challenge may do this for advertising or for other forms of content, like news stories.
The Happiness Challenge is able to use the above tools since its podcast host or measurement company offers this service. It doesn’t mean that this individual podcast uses them, or has access to this functionality. We use open data.
