Like Ya Said!

A society podcast from Like Ya Said!

Like Ya Said focuses on unveiling truths behind the varying experiences of a young person growing up in our social and cultural context. This podcast has been created with African Nova Scotians in mind, and for anyone else who can identify with the highlighted topics. My goal is to elevate you and create a safe space for us to be challenged and face our realities while being encouraged and inspired to press on.

‘Like Ya Said!’ is a podcast about speaking one’s truth and being true to one’s self. The phrase “Like Ya Said” comes from the Black Communities in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where I proudly hail from! This phrase is used when a listener hears a truth being spoken and is in agreement with what has been said. You can expect authenticity, creativity, and lots of laughter from this podcast.

I’m excited to be on this journey with y’all.

Peace & Love.

This podcast may use dynamic content insertion

Stats: Statistics are produced by Anchor to help Like Ya Said! to understand how many downloads it is getting, or how many people are listening. Your device’s IP address and user agent is used to help calculate this figure. Anchor is IAB v2 certified.

Dynamic content insertion: Anchor may use limited data that they know about you - the device you’re using, the approximate location you’re in, or other data that can be derived from this, like the current weather forecast for your area - to change parts of the audio. Like Ya Said! may do this for advertising or for other forms of content, like news stories.

Like Ya Said! is able to use the above tools since its podcast host or measurement company offers this service. It doesn’t mean that this individual podcast uses them, or has access to this functionality. We use open data.
