Tim's Tandem Travels
A society & culture podcast from Tim's Tandem Travels
“The first time I went out on a tandem we went straight out the drive, into the neighbours and nearly hit their garage”
Tim Caldwell has an amazing story. In 2013 Tim had a cardiac arrest that nearly killed him. It left him with severe brain injury, loss of vision and unable to walk or talk.He recovered, yet his vision did not return. His cousin Andy persuaded him that tandem bike riding was a good way to show how far he has come after the life changing event. Of course this meant that a tandem bike was necessary with Andy as the pilot and Tim doing the hard work at the back. It is a story that is truly inspiring.
