Weird Laws: The Code of Hammurabi

A culture, society podcast from Alexander Carpenter
Website: https://anchor.fm/alexander-carpenter

Imagine living in a place where convicting someone of a crime, only to be wrong, could get you stoned to death! In Ancient Mesopotamia, that was the case! Weird Laws is a show where we dive into some of the most harsh and strange laws from around the world, throughout history. In this episode I will discuss some of the harsh laws of the Code of Hammurabi with random people, to prove how weird these laws really are.
