Augmented Reality - SoSe 2009

Augmented Reality (AR) ist eine neuartige Forschungsrichtung der Mensch-Maschine- Interaktion, bei der durch eine dreidimensionale Registrierung virtuelle Informationen in die reale Umgebung des Benutzers eingebracht werden. In dieser Veranstaltung wird zunächst ein umfassender Überblick der möglichen Einsatzgebiete der AR gegeben, worauf eine Einführung in die wesentlichen Basistechniken der AR erfolgt: Technologien zur Ortsbestimmung (Tracking), relevante Aspekte der Computergraphik zur Informationspräsentation, Systemaspekte.
