Race Equality Network
An education podcast from Oxford University
The Race Equality Network was formally launched on Thursday 29th October 2009 at Wadham College. Dr David Mills, from the Department of Education delivered a presentation on “Learning differently, teaching inclusively”. The keynote speech was delivered by Karen Chouhan, Director of Equanomics and one of the Joseph Rowntree visionaries.
The aims of the network are:
* To provide an opportunity to network and socialise
* To promote understanding between people of all races and cultures
* To provide a discussion forum for cultural issues/matters
* To support each other and share ideas both face-to-face and online
