What is active reading? It is reading with the aim of understanding and grasping something. While studying this unit, you will be focusing on the variety of methods for presenting and organising qualitative and quantitative evidence in the form of numbers and text, and learn how to understand the ways in which evidence is presented and to read it actively and with purpose. This study unit is just one of many that can be found on LearningSpace, part of OpenLearn, a collection of open educational resources from The Open University. Published in ePub 2.0.1 format, some feature such as audio, video and linked PDF are not supported by all ePub readers.
