Onecho (JSM)

A music podcast from Onecho (JSM)

Voici une version davantage structurée autour d’une progression vers une expérience de pic, tout en maintenant une formulation prudente sur la dimension thérapeutique.

Onecho (JSM) is an original music and visual storytelling project built around melodic drum and bass, cinematic electronic production, K-pop-influenced vocals and the exploration of altered states of consciousness.

The music is designed as a progressive journey. Each track begins with immediate rhythmic energy, then gradually expands through layered harmonies, evolving basslines, luminous pads, psychedelic textures and increasingly expressive vocals. Tension is introduced, sustained and transformed until the composition reaches an emotional and sensory peak.

This peak is not conceived simply as a drop or climax. It is approached as a moment of intensified presence: a point at which rhythm, melody, voice and image converge to create a temporary shift in perception. The aim is to evoke release, emotional access, heightened awareness or a renewed sense of connection.

Onecho draws from melodic drum and bass, progressive electronic music, cinematic sound design and contemporary K-pop vocal production. Expressive lead vocals, contrasting timbres, layered harmonies, memorable toplines and precise emotional delivery are combined with deep bass, fast breakbeats and immersive atmospheres. The result is energetic and accessible, while remaining psychologically and emotionally layered.

At the centre of every release is a recognisable human experience: disconnection, overload, uncertainty, repetition, loss of direction, emotional conflict or the sensation of standing between different versions of oneself. Altered states of consciousness are explored as symbolic and experiential spaces in which memory, identity, emotion and perception can be encountered from a different perspective.

The project is also inspired by the therapeutic use of music, including its role in psychedelic-assisted therapy and other structured contexts of psychological care. In such settings, music can influence attention, emotional intensity, inward focus, imagery, narrative meaning and the progression of subjective experience.

Onecho explores these principles through musical architecture. Repetition can provide stability. Gradual development can support immersion. Harmonic tension can bring difficult emotions closer. Vocal presence can create a sense of accompaniment. The peak can facilitate release, while the descent can offer space for reflection and integration.

The tracks are therefore conceived not only as songs, but as guided emotional trajectories: entry, activation, deepening, confrontation, expansion, peak, release and return.

Onecho does not present its music as a medical treatment, does not promise therapeutic outcomes and does not replace professional care. Its purpose is to create a meaningful sonic environment that may accompany reflection, emotional processing, recovery, therapy, self-exploration or personal change.

The project is open to everyone seeking this kind of experience. It is intended for people engaging in treatment, navigating difficult periods, exploring their inner world or simply looking for music that creates enough intensity to feel and enough structure to remain grounded.

The stories do not offer miraculous healing. Their transformations remain human and realistic: recognising an emotion, tolerating uncertainty, changing perspective, making a decision, taking a breath or identifying one possible next step.

Each release is developed together with an original visual universe. Everyday reality is combined with symbolic, surreal and supernatural imagery, creating a continuous relationship between sound, lyrics, movement and perception. The visual transformation follows the musical progression and reaches its strongest expression at the emotional peak.

Onecho explores the space between movement and stillness, intensity and vulnerability, ordinary consciousness and altered perception. It uses progressive music to create a path inward, a moment of expansion and a gradual return.

Original music. Progressive immersion. Cinematic worlds. K-pop-influenced vocals. Altered states. Emotional peaks. Therapeutic inspiration. Human stories in motion.
