本书《闪记中考1600词》，以小学和初中系列教材以及义务教育英语课程标准二级和五级词汇为蓝本，实际收录小学和中学阶段高频词汇1670词：小学阶段844个单词（绿色字体）和中学阶段826个单词（黑色字体）。
本书主要使用谐音、象形、三字经、联想、用单词记单词、词中词、词根记忆七种记忆方法来加强单词的记忆。
本书特点
一、 词词有方法、各个能巧记
“黑猫白猫，抓住老鼠就是好猫”。本书从每个单词的发音、拼写、象形、汉语意思、词根词缀等各个方面寻找记忆突破口，来达到帮助英语初学者快速记忆基础词汇的目的。在编写的过程中，我们对每一个单词都逐个推敲、精益求精，再结合小学生活泼好动、注意力集中时间相对较短的特点，在呈现给大家的记忆要点和讲解这两个部分中，尽可能做到：
