Business (Un)usual
This is Business (Un)usual - a podcast for people who suspect there’s a better way to build a business, and are brave enough to try.
I’m Sophia Wyatt, co-founder of Library of Things, and in each episode we examine the assumptions we accept about how business should work. Together we ask instead: what if there’s another way?
Library of Things started in 2014 as a grassroots experiment. Over a decade on, it’s celebrated as a pioneer of city-wide sharing and the circular economy, working with cities across the UK and Europe. But the path there and the workings internally are more interesting than any news article could tell you.
We’re starting with Library of Things’ own stories, before expanding to other founders, designers, and leaders who are building differently.
This isn’t about growth-hacking or hustle culture. Just honest conversations about what it actually takes to build something that matters.
