Being a parent, trying to become one, choosing not to be, gaining a family or losing one, having or being mums or dads or not shapes our lives in so many ways. In this podcast we explore how parenting – both being one or not or having them near or far- influences your perspective. And how in the run up to an election here in the UK it influences your politics.
In the Mummafesto, Labour and Cooperative MP for Walthamstow, Stella Creasy will speak to campaigners, academics and changemakers - people whose work is making our country a better place to be in. They’ll explore how parenting has influenced their work and their mission - the motivations, the fears, the tears and the chaos as well as tiredness, and what they would like to put in their 'Mummafesto’ for the General Election.
