Som 20-årig fik Sigurd Hartkorn Plaetner konstateret den alvorlige og uhelbredelige sygdom, sclerose. Her 14 år senere, er han klar til at fortælle om det - ikke om selve sygdommen, men om, hvad den har gjort ved hans måde at være i verden på. Vi skal hele vejen fra marokkanske natklubber og endeløse drukture til depressioner og frygten for at dø før sine forældre. Det er en serie, der handler om at leve i skjul for, på trods af og i kraft af det, man ikke kan ændre.
