Ciccio è il cantante della band più scalcinata di Roma Sud, I Fungonauti, ottimi musicisti, ma così sfortunati e incompresi da ricorrere ad un fungo allucinogeno per fuggire dalla realtà.

Nei pochi momenti di lucidità scrivono canzoni (secondo loro bellissime) e si interrogano sui motivi del loro imprevedibile insuccesso. Decisi a giocarsi il tutto per tutto partono per un lungo viaggio sulle orme dei mitici Argonauti.
