Lemonada is on a mission to make life suck less. We create audio and video podcasts that tackle the most human stuff in ways that are entertaining, genuine, and worth sharing. We’ve built a network with loyal audiences, critical respect, and content that truly matters.
We are seeking an accomplished showrunner, creative leader, and operator to oversee day-to-day management of content production and development. The Executive Producer will ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget, all while keeping a close eye on creative standards. This is a LA-based senior role at the intersection of content, production, and cross-functional collaboration. The Executive Producer (EP) will run multiple original series, manage internal team members and external contractors, and be available to support the unexpected operational needs of a living production cycle. The ideal candidate will be equal parts builder and operator, who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing media landscape.
Responsibilities

- Design the daily shooting schedule to maximize efficiency and time management.
- Make decisive calls that keep the production moving forward without losing the trust of the people in it.
- Serve as the lead showrunner across multiple podcasts, overseeing all aspects of podcast production (video, audio, in-studio, remote), including timelines, budgets, staffing plans, and resource allocation.
- Work alongside the VP of Content & Development to conceptualize formats from scratch, develop concepts with hosts, and ultimately launch and showrun for long-term success.
- Partner with Head of Content, VP of Content & Development and VP, Audience Growth to execute detailed launch plans and audience growth strategies to set new shows up for success.
- Collaborate with VP, Audience Growth to make creative decisions that align with and adapt to audience data and analytics, ensuring a show’s continued growth post-launch.
- Collaborate closely with the audience growth team to ensure projects meet their client KPIs and align with Lemonada’s broader brand strategy.
- Cultivate relationships with talent, agents, and media stakeholders with enthusiasm, professionalism and follow-through, traveling around LA as needed.
- Create trusting and fruitful relationships with talent and their teams. Serve as the primary point of contact, guiding them through the production process with clarity, confidence, and kindness.

- Maintain creative standards that align with Lemonada’s brand and editorial vision.
- Provide editorial guidance and creative feedback to both internal and external teams on episode structure, scripts, cuts, sizzles and creative materials to ensure quality and consistency.
- Translate creative vision into actionable production plans and deliverables.
- Lead staffing on new shows to create effective, highly collaborative production teams that include full-time team members, contractors and/or external production teams.
- Directly manage producers and external contributors across multiple projects.
