Salary range: $1,500 to $4,000 (monthly rate) - subject to experience plus Health insurance, 401K eligible after 1 year of employment

GSR produces the hit international public affairs podcast, One Decision. Hosted by leading Julia Macfarlane and ex MI6 director, Sir Richard Dearlove, the program delves into the most important international news issues of the day. Several of the One Decision stories have been featured and reported on in leading national and international news outlets such as The New York Times, The Guardian, Al Jazeera, Axios and Politico.

Responsibilities:
- Be an active participant in pitch meetings, consistently engaged with news of the day, to propose content and potential guests
- Liaise with the audio production team, hosts, and guests to push production forward
- Research, pre-interview and book guests
- Facilitate podcast interviews and provide constructive performance feedback after the interview
- Edit scripts
- Supervise a small team of research assistants
- Manage scope, track deliverables, create a strategic plan with the team, and execute on that plan
- Generate compelling social media content for the podcast
- Analyze key metrics and develop strategies to consistently grow audiences
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of production experience with a podcast or news outlet
- Demonstrated understanding of the podcast industry
- Experience with booking guests
- Experience facilitating media interviews and pitching stories
- Strong ability to produce quality work under tight deadlines
- Experience writing and developing press materials
- Ability to successfully multitask
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Collaborative, positive attitude and ability to be a self-starter
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
