Sam Sethi, co-host of the Podnews Weekly Review and CEO of TrueFans, will also be there. Come for a pint of “man in the box”, and stay for a chat with others from the audio world.
- Jul 9, 2025: Support for HLS video has been added to podcast host Transistor. It’s currently supported by TrueFans or the Fountain beta.
- Apr 28, 2025: Creators from TrueFans is a new weekly podcast from TrueFans which launches today. Each week Sam Sethi (CEO of TrueFans and the co-host of the Podnews Weekly Review) and Claire Waite Brown (Producer and Host of Podcasting 2.0 in Practise & Fanzone), will showcase independent podcast and music creators. They will also discuss features recently released in TrueFans that will help creators monetise their fandoms. Sam and Claire are very keen to hear from independent creators who would like to be featured on the show, too.

Fanzone is your bite-size guide to getting the most out of the TrueFans podcast app. In each episode Sam Sethi and Claire Waite Brown discuss an aspect of the app and answer any questions you may have about it. - Sep 16, 2024: TrueFans is now sharing listener activity (with permission) to the fediverse. Here’s ⁂ @sam@truefans.social and his activity - which you can subscribe to in tools like Mastodon and others. TrueFans has also announced that it is beginning work on iOS and Android apps.
