- Mar 12: The iHeartPodcast Awards took place at SXSW in Austin, TX. Podcast of the Year went to New Heights; iHeart won seven of the thirty awards (including the international winner from iHeartPodcasts Australia); SiriusXM’s Simplecast hosted nine of the winners; iHeart’s Omny Studio hosted eight. We’ve a full list of the winners here, and video of the event.
- Jan 12: The iHeartPodcast Awards will be held this year at SXSW in Austin TX on March 11. The event will be held at the Fairmont Hotel, and available as a live stream.
- Mar 15, 2023: The iHeartPodcast Awards were announced in New York, hosted by actor and comedian Brian Baumgartner. The Podcast of the Year Award went to Las Culturistas, but in our list of the winners, which includes links, production companies and podcast hosts, you'll see that out of 28 awards, iHeart won four (similar to last year). Unlike last year, no Spotify shows won any award; only two were nominated.
- Dec 16, 2022: iHeartMedia announced the nominations for the iHeartPodcast Awards 2023. They'll stream on Mar 14. Our list of nominations shows just 17 of the 143 nominations are from iHeartRadio.
- Mar 31, 2022: Only a week after The Ambies, The Webbys have decided to launch their own podcast awards. It'll be called The Signal Awards, and set to take place in January 2023. This is the normal date for the iHeartPodcast Awards, and we'd note that Anna Hossnieh, Executive Producer at iHeartRadio is one of the judges. :hmm:
