- Mar 17: You’re a TV advertiser, and you want to increase the number of people who know about your brand by 41% -and you want to do that for free? Easy - just move some of that money to podcasts. In a case study shared by Edison Podcast Metrics and Nielsen Media Impact, moving just 5% of that TV money into podcasting reaches an additional 26 million people, at no additional cost.
- Mar 4: Adam Bowie looks at the latest Edison Podcast Metrics ranker for the UK, and notes that 15 of the top 25 were in the first release of this data back in Q2 2023 - “it is hard to break into this list”.
- Jan 29: Earlier this week, we reported on the Edison Podcast Metrics US Top 50 for Q4/25. But, is there anything to learn from their show description, titles, or artwork that have helped them succeed? - Jan 26: Edison Podcast Metrics released the top 50 Podcasts in the US for Q4/25. No change in the top five, but new entries from, among others, The Diary of a CEO, Dumb Blonde, and Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce. Serial, which had been in the chart forever, has finally dropped out of the top 50, more than 11 years since its release.
- Jan 13: Where do most people listen to podcasts? At home. And is that number increasing? Yes - indeed, it's at a new high, according to Edison Podcast Metrics.
