- Dec 26, 2024: Happy Christmas to ART19, which certified to IAB v2.2 podcast guidelines on Dec 23. The IAB requires annual recertification, yet four companies still appearing in the IAB’s list were last certified in 2021 - three from iHeart (Omny Studio, Spreaker and Voxnest); and the German podcast host Audiorella.
- Mar 27, 2024: First look: In podcast advertising, there’s “host reads”, “announcer reads”, and a new tool, “talent reads” - an ad voiced by talent from an existing podcast, but who is not featured in the specific podcast where the ad is inserted. New research released today by Gumball, ART19 and Signal Hill Insights shows that this “talent reads” format is an effective addition to an advertiser’s toolset. The study will be presented at Evolutions tomorrow at 9am, in Platinum F.
- Jan 10, 2023: Later today, Apple Podcasts will announce the launch of Delegated Delivery (beta), allowing creators to publish Apple Podcasts Subscriptions content directly from their participating hosting provider dashboard. Blubrry, Libsyn, Triton Digital's Omny Studio and RSS·com are the first to offer the service: Acast, ART19, Buzzsprout and other providers will follow. Creators can still upload subscriber audio directly to Apple Podcasts Connect.
- Jan 5, 2023: Operation: Tradebom is a new show from Apple TV+ on the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. Narrated by Marc Smerling, it's produced by Truth Media in partnership with Brillstein Entertainment Partners, and is hosted on Amazon's ART19.
- Aug 9, 2022: Podtrac is to add a Sales Network Ranker report in Q3 this year, according to emails from ART19 to some of its customers.
