  • Skype will soon let you record your calls. The feature launches later this month in Skype 8; older versions of Skype will stop working in a few months.

  • Kellie Riordan, the boss of ABC Audio Studios, is interviewed in PodMail and highlights radio’s relationship with podcasting. “Whether someone consumes [audio] in the on-demand environment or on a radio, to me that’s almost the wrong argument.”

  • Related to the above, Fantastic Audio is a new podcast from the University of Bedfordshire (an actual place, not from a sleepy children’s story) about making radio, and “exploring how we define what good audio is”.

  • Google Play Music appears to have had some issues with importing recent episodes: according to some podcasters it’s been stuck for five days. (It’s entirely different to Google Podcasts: here’s an FAQ all about that).
