Congratulations to NPR’s Hidden Brain which celebrates its 100th episode today. The episode interviews Daniel Kahneman, the behavioural economist. It’s Kahneman’s birthday, in a strange coincidence.

French publisher Lagardère Publicité has selected AdsWizz for programmatic ad insertion and analytics. Lagardère runs, among others, Europe 1, RFM and Virgin Radio France. Stats: Europe 1 is seeing 25m downloads per month, a figure which has doubled in two years. Lagardère claims it is the most podcasted commercial radio company in the country.

A South African podcaster is excited at the opportunities for podcasting in Africa. “The continent, in particular, has less affluent markets who are extremely familiar with the radio. Literacy rates are not a stumbling block.”
