• American Public Media and reVolverpodcasts have announced they’re to make Spanish language podcasts. Brains On en Español will be their first release: “available exclusively on a major podcast platform that will be announced this fall.” Hmm. Does it begin with A?

• Podcast host Fireside has launched the Fireside Pro Plan, which they describe as a “plan for podcasters who are becoming serious about their show”. The plan includes a number of collaboration features and enhanced analytics.

• Acast has launched a feature allowing listeners to rate podcasts in the Acast app. Since launching this month, people have left more than 45,000 in-app ratings for 9,000 different shows. (We list how to add your podcast to the Acast app and many others).

• A nice tweak: when you get your podcast listed in Spotify for Podcasters, they now give you the link it’ll be on, reports Solid Gold Podcast Studios, who’ve just launched language and literature podcast The Reading Room.
