PodcastOne adds ART19 hosting to its shopping cart

PodcastOne is to switch hosting to Amazon’s ART19. It had been using the relatively unknown Nox Solutions as a podcast host. The Podcast Index suggests Nox Solutions hosts around 1,277 shows - 1,077 of which are with PodcastOne and Launchpadone.

Docusign is the latest company with a new sonic logo. In this case, it’s described as a “red thread” that runs through all of Docusign’s marketing (and, we hope, podcast advertising). We’ve a few examples in the press release, and another in our podcast.

SiriusXM shared the company’s 2024 results. “What is working? Well, wouldn’t ya know it… it’s podcasts.” says Chris Peterson, in his analysis of the numbers. He adds that “it’s time for independent publishers to control their own monetization”.

BBC Studios has signed with iHeartMedia to become the exclusive third-party sales partner for BBC Podcasts in the US. It joins ARN’s iHeart, which has rights in Australia, and NZME’s iHeart, which has rights in New Zealand.

- Audacy is officially no longer going bankrupt, closing its Chapter 11 bankruptcy process in court, reports iHeart’s Inside Radio. CEO David Field welcomed “the dawn of a new era”, and has stepped down; Kelli Turner is interim CEO while Audacy looks to fill the role permamently. RadioINK reports that the new head of the FCC may wish to overrule Audacy’s deal. The company owns a number of podcast companies including Pineapple Street Studios.
