YouGov has published data about podcast consumption in India. The data, conducted with Spotify, highlights that night-time is the most popular time for podcast listening, and that 62% have listened to a podcast at least once.

Australia has a new #1 podcast, according to the November Australian Podcast Ranker at least: Audioboom’s Casefile, represented by the #1 network, ARN’s iHeartPodcastNetwork Australia. Overall monthly downloads dropped by 6.5%. An incomplete ranker, it measures participating publishers only, and still doesn’t include the country’s largest podcaster, the ABC.

The UK’s Podcast Radio is to launch its own original podcasts. They launched three new shows yesterday.

The New York Times has warned that digital advertising is likely to be down -5% in Q4 2020, and overall ad revenue down by -20%. The newspaper company has a large podcasting division.
