• Just announced - Neon Hum Media’s Editors’ Bootcamp, a free training event for aspiring podcast editors. The eight week course in mid-March is taking applications today, and is designed to provide opportunities for Black and Native American storytellers, other people of color, the LGTBQ+ community, and Latinx people.

• LiveXLive has formed a two-year joint venture with podcast producer Audio Up Media. The company also owns PodcastOne.

• The new Latin American Podcast Report has been released by Triton Digital. O Assunto, the #1, saw 10% more downloads month on month. An incomplete ranker, it measures participating podcasters only.

• Libsyn has said it will support the Podcast Index tags, Adam Curry will announce in the next edition of Podcasting 2.0. Buzzsprout is already supporting the new tags, and Blubrry has already said it plans to support them soon too. The podcast will have a special guest: our Editor.

News Fighters, a satirical news podcast from Australia produced by TV comedy editor Dylan Behan, is to join podcast distributor Sanspants, and will release weekly from the new year.

Saqr’s Eclipse is new from the KC Network - an Arabic language immersive thriller, sponsored by Toyota. The company says it’s a 'cinematic’ podcast; and will be released a week early on music streaming app Anghami.
