In Vulture, Nick Quah writes a full piece about video podcasting, and whether “video will kill the audio star in 2025”. Some people he interviews make the case for enhanced discovery on video platforms. But, others point out a gender bias - men just turn up; but women are expected to “be camera ready”, as a quick check between Joe Rogan and Alex Cooper will point out. A thoughtful piece, it’s worth a read today.
