Frequency tunes into Flightpath for realtime monetization

• Exclusive: Predictive analytics and forecasting tool Flightpath has joined forces with monetisation company Frequency to give publishers a clear view of real-time sales opportunities across their network. The companies suggest it’s the foundation for an industry-wide solution to unsold podcast inventory; and describe it as “smarter monetization”.

• “It looks like you’re analysing your podcast’s data. Would you like some help with that?” Podscribe has announced a conversational chatbot to help advertisers, agencies and publishers quickly get more from Podscribe’s datasets; and a smart modeling tool for YouTube campaigns, recognising that YouTube performs differently than audio ads.

• Headliner has added a social media scheduler, allowing you to control when and how your video content is shared across different platforms.

• Medhi Hasan’s podcasts have been signed to Libsyn for monetisation. Mehdi Unfiltered, and We’re Not Kidding Mehdi & Friends, will be represented by Libsyn in a twelve month deal.

• Back in November, former England rugby star and TV personality Joe Marler launched a new podcast with Platform Media. Joe Marler Will See You Now has shared some consumption data - it’s achieved 16 million short-form social views in the past seven days alone, and one clip has been seen more than 25 million times in total. On YouTube, 40% of all viewers are watching on their television screens.
