In Canada, the CBC launches its daily news podcast on Monday. Called Front Burner, it is hosted by Jayme Poisson, as we reported on 1 Aug. Rogers has been running The Big Story as a daily news podcast since June; and Corus’s weekly This is Why launched at a similar time.

Google Podcasts broke for some users. This happened to your Editor, too, who is opted-in to the beta version of the Google app. To fix it, I de-registered from the beta version of the app, and reinstalled it. (Beta versions include bugs: that’s kind of the point).
