Exclusive: Audioboom have selected Voxnest as their exclusive ad-tech partner. The integration between Voxnest’s advertising tool and Audioboom’s hosting and distribution platform will allow targeted host endorsements and live reads, and advertising across the entire network from ad networks and programmatic exchanges.

A new podcast host, Supercast launches today, promising in a blog post to make it easy for any podcaster to switch to a subscription model. The platform handles payment, and subscriber feeds are available in the majority of podcast apps. The system also watches for “feed fraud”, where paid-for RSS feeds are shared with others. Supercast is also in Product Hunt today.

Glow, a podcast monetisation support tool, has added different monetisation offerings, now allowing one-time and annual payments.

Lawyers acting on behalf of Mike Boudet have sent Justin Drown from Obscura a cease-and-desist letter, The Verge reports, after Drown accused Boudet of orchestrating negative one-star reviews against his podcast.

Sports broadcaster Mike Francesca has sold his app, and podcast, to Entercom’s RADIO·COM. He was charging US$8.99 to access his podcast; the content is now free.
