Apple history podcast hits $60,000 funding in less than a day

Popular Apple-focused website Six Colors is asking its readers to help fund a podcast about Apple’s history. It hit its stretch goal of $60,000 in less than 24 hours; at the time of writing, it’s just hit $100,000. (The website also has a yearly report card - huh, there’s an idea.)

Some of SiriusXM’s biggest podcasts are to be streamed on Tubi, including Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend, Rotten Mango and What Now? with Trevor Noah. These shows also stream on YouTube, and that won’t go away. Advertising sales for video podcasts on Tubi will be shared between Tubi and SiriusXM Media.

Podcast website company Podpage wants to help your podcast get found - so it’s launched an AI-powered SEO assistant, to help you tune your podcast’s titles and descriptions for better results in search engines. It can even be set to run automatically.

Nielsen published The Record: Q1 U.S. audio listening trends. Podcasts are getting 20% of all time with ad-supported audio in the US; larger than ad-supported streaming music, which gets just 16%.

BridgeWise has added a Podcast Sentiment Analysis Feed to its Context Analytics product, which quantifies what investors are reading, disclosing and saying; now, the company is now able to measure what investors are listening to, checking what podcasters are saying about companies (grouped by ticker symbol).
