  • Exclusive: Most podcast listeners only make room for three titles in their weekly routine. That’s one of the key findings from The Podcast Study: Growth, the results of which will be revealed next week at Podcast Movement (Wed 12.15pm, Keynote Stage). Tim Bronsil told Podnews: “In a world where shelf space is limited, the podcasts that combine strong content with active relationship building have the best chance to secure a coveted top three spot.” It’s a joint project between Strategic Solutions Research and Point-to-Point Marketing.

  • Audiencelift is to launch a new, proprietary, YouTube growth tool at Podcast Movement next week. The feature has been built to drive real video views, engagement, and subscriber growth on YouTube through hyper-targeted video ad placements.

  • A set of podcasts are to be pressed on vinyl. The first vinyl record celebrating black and brown voices is being pressed, featuring thirteen podcasts helping to shape the culture. It’s available to purchase now.
