Goalhanger’s original podcast, We Have Ways of Making You Talk, has today released its 1,000th episode
Hosted by Al Murray and James Holland, We Have Ways Of Making You Talk launched on 2 April 2019 and has now been running for 2,667 days - longer than the Second World War itself.
Across seven years, the podcast has covered everything from the Battle of Britain and D-Day to the Eastern Front, forgotten campaigns and untold stories, combining expert historical insight with humour, lively tangents and plenty of war waffle.
The show has grown into the world’s biggest Second World War history podcast, supported by an extraordinary international community of listeners and members of the Independent Company.
Al Murray said: “Seven years of wär wäffle in the company of my dear friend Jim, the Afflicted, and all this thing hath wrought - the IC, who’ve brought their ears and their generosity.
