- Feb 10: A new show has been announced by Goalhanger - The Book Club, which "brings the historical context behind famous books to life". It's hosted by Dominic Sandbrook and his producer, Tabitha Syrett. Wuthering Heights will be the subject of the first episode (there's a new spicy movie adaptation out shortly, too).
- Feb 5: First look: Analytics and management solution Podstock has announced agreements with a number of sports media brands including Goalhanger, Playmaker, and others - joining existing publishers including Locked On and Blue Wire.
- Feb 2: Following The Chernin Group's investment into Goalhanger, TCG's Greg Bettinelli has been appointed a Director of Goalhanger. So has Gary Lineker, one of the co-founders.
- Jan 29: UK podcast production company Goalhanger has formed a strategic partnership with The Chernin Group to accelerate the company's US expansion. TCG is Goalhanger's first external investor (the company has been entirely bootstrapped until now, though co-founder Gary Lineker is a multi-millionaire). TCG has also invested in Audiochuck, Barstool Sports, and Substack.
- Jan 21: The Rest is History is to launch a history festival in London's Hampton Court. The festival, which will welcome thousands of members each day, will be designed to help fans meet each other, and timed so that "the tribe can gather". The show is run by Goalhanger.
