Realm and Night Vale Presents announce multi-year partnership

Press Release · New York, NY, USA · via Realm ·

Realm, the digital media network, today announced that Night Vale Presents—the pioneering independent podcast label founded by Joseph Fink and Jeffrey Cranor—has joined the Realm Network in a multiyear partnership. As part of the agreement, Realm will oversee ad sales, distribution, and live events representation for the full Night Vale Presents slate, including the iconic flagship series Welcome to Night Vale.

Known for its deadpan humor, supernatural storytelling, and enduring fandom, Welcome to Night Vale has been an industry benchmark since its launch in 2012, topping charts and selling out global tours. The partnership also includes the fan-favorite seasonal series Within the Wires, and other acclaimed shows such as Alice Isn’t Dead, Dreamboy, and Random Number Generator Horror Podcast No. 9.

“We couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome Night Vale Presents to Realm, ” said Mary Assadullahi, VP of Realm. “Welcome to Night Vale didn’t just shape the fiction podcast genre, it set a new standard for what sustained creative and commercial success looks like in audio. Joseph and Jeffrey have built something exceptional, and we’re honored to bring their groundbreaking work to Realm.”

“Night Vale Presents is one of the last remaining truly independent companies in podcasting, and we’ve done that by only making stuff we really love and only working with people whom we know understand what we do,” said Joseph Fink, Co-Founder of Night Vale Presents. “With Realm, we have people we trust on the business side so we can spend our time telling stories to listeners all over the world. Because everyone likes a weird little story in their ears sometimes.”

Night Vale Presents is known for redefining what independent podcasting can be, combining artistic ambition, political nuance, and cross-genre experimentation. Its catalog spans immersive fiction, deep-dive nonfiction, TV reviews, and tools for creators. The partnership expands Realm’s leadership in narrative audio and further strengthens its diverse slate of entertainment and pop culture content.

Episodes from the full Night Vale Presents catalog are now available on the Realm network.
