Podigee brings AI-assisted podcast publishing to ChatGPT and Claude
Podigee, the open podcast software from Berlin, is now listed in the Claude Connectors Directory and the ChatGPT plugin directory. Creators, marketing teams and publishers add Podigee with one click, sign in with their Podigee account, and can then maintain, publish and analyse their podcasts by asking their AI assistant.
The listings are the next step in work Podigee started early. In April 2025, Podigee released its first MCP server so that podcasters could ask an AI assistant about their analytics. Today, the connection offers nearly 50 tools and covers the publishing workflow from the first draft to distribution.
The work around the conversation
A podcast episode is a conversation. Publishing it is a list of chores: titles, show notes, chapter marks, transcripts, release dates, distribution to Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube and other platforms, posts for social channels, and reports for the team or the client. For a solo creator, that is time missing from the next episode. For a marketing team or a network with dozens of shows, it is a production line.
AI can now take on much of this work. In a survey Podigee ran among 384 podcast producers, half already use AI, and most of them every week.
Connected to Podigee, an assistant can:
- search everything that was said across a show and return the passages with episode and timestamp, so the back catalogue becomes material for new content,
- answer questions about downloads and compare episodes, for example “Which of my last ten episodes had the strongest first week, and what do they have in common?”,
- write and update titles, descriptions, show notes, chapter marks and keywords, for one episode or up to 50 in one request,
- create draft episodes, and schedule or publish them,
- check where a show is live on each platform and what still needs to be done, and submit it to Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Deezer and Listen Notes,
- import a podcast from another host by RSS (on paid plans),
- manage the listeners of private podcasts for internal communication,
- pick up the LinkedIn posts, newsletter sections, blog drafts, quotes and clips that Podigee has already prepared from an episode, and keep working on them in the chat.
The assistant works on top of the AI that is built into Podigee. Every episode is transcribed automatically, with the language detected, on every current plan including the free Launch plan. For new episodes, Podigee drafts titles, descriptions, show notes, keywords and chapter marks, and fills only the fields that are still empty. On request, it turns an episode into a LinkedIn post, a newsletter section or an SEO article in the podcast’s own language, suggests quotes, and on larger plans cuts short video clips for social media. Inside the app, the Podigee AI assistant helps with the same tasks.
“AI can write the show notes. It can set chapters, schedule publication and check whether a show is live everywhere. But you make the conversation yourself. And that’s exactly what you get the hours back for: the work AI takes off your plate around it. I believe that in a few years nobody will publish a podcast without an assistant by their side, and we want Podigee to be the platform where this already works today,” says Mateusz Sójka, Co-founder and CEO of Podigee.
Built for creators, teams and publishers
- Creators get answers instead of dashboards and hand off the routine steps of every release, from show notes to the release time.
- Marketing and communications teams turn a question into a report for the next meeting, for example a summary for leadership, and reuse what was said in the podcast on their other channels.
- Publishers, studios, agencies and networks work across all their shows at once, from show notes for 50 episodes in one request to an analytics summary across every podcast in the account.
Open, and in the user’s control
Podigee does not tie podcasters to one AI provider. The connection to AI assistants follows an open standard, and users choose the assistant they already work with.
Every consequential change runs as a preview first. The assistant shows what will change, and nothing happens until the user confirms that exact change. Each connection is tied to one Podigee account. Users choose its permissions, for example read-only or analytics only, and can revoke access at any time in Podigee under Connected apps. Podigee drafts and suggests; it does not post anything to social channels on the user’s behalf.
“Your podcast is your voice. So we were strict about one rule: nothing gets published or changed until you say yes,” says Mateusz Sójka.
Availability
The connection to AI assistants is included in every current Podigee plan, starting with the free Launch plan. How far back analytics go depends on the plan. In Claude, the Podigee connector is available on all plans; on Claude Team and Enterprise, an Owner adds it for the organisation first. The Podigee plugin in ChatGPT is not limited to particular countries. In ChatGPT Business, Enterprise and Edu workspaces, administrators decide which plugins members can install. Recordings are uploaded in Podigee itself; assistants that run on the user’s computer, such as Claude Code or Codex, can upload the file directly.
