PodcastRD Announces Inaugural “PodcastRD Awards” to Celebrate Excellence in Dominican Podcasting
PodcastRD, the most comprehensive directory of Dominican podcasts, today announced the official launch of the 1st Annual PodcastRD Awards 2025. This historic event, created to celebrate and honor the excellence and consistency of content creators, will be broadcast live on November 11, 2025, commemorating Dominican Podcast Day.
The initiative seeks to acknowledge local talent that has positioned podcasting as a vital medium in the country. In this inaugural edition, 19 podcasts automatically qualify by meeting rigorous criteria: being independent productions, native to the internet, having maintained an “active” status throughout 2025, and having a minimum of 12 episodes published in the directory.
“We are incredibly excited to present this first edition,” commented Jeymi Febles, co-founder of PodcastRD. “The Dominican podcasting community is full of talent, dedication, and unique voices. These awards are our way of saying 'we are listening’ and formally recognizing the effort they put in every day to inform, educate, and entertain.”
The awards will be divided into two main areas: Data-Driven Awards, which will objectively measure performance (such as “Most Consistent Periodicity” and “Most Visited on PodcastRD”), and Judge-Evaluated Awards, which will focus on qualitative aspects like “Technical Quality” and “Revelation of the Year.”
“More than an award, it’s a platform to boost creators,” added Robert Sasuke, co-founder of the platform. “We want to honor quality and consistency, and at the same time, connect these talents with new audiences and opportunities. For example, winners will receive an immediate nomination to the Latin Podcast Awards, taking Dominican talent to an international stage.”

Winners will receive an official digital certificate, nomination to the Latin Podcast Awards, a 50% discount on future editions, and a prominent one-year placement on the PodcastRD.com homepage.
The live broadcast will be available via premios.podcastrd.com. The public and media are invited to follow the conversation using the official hashtag #PremiosPodcastRD and on Instagram @podcastrd.
