Podcast Movement Reveals 2026 Speaker Lineup, Bringing Podcasting's Biggest Creators, Executives and Innovators to New York City

Press Release · Dallas TX, United States · via Podcast Movement ·

Podcast Movement, the flagship event for global podcast creators, today announced the full lineup of speakers and sessions for Podcast Movement 2026, taking place September 17–18 at Terminal 5 in New York City. Featuring speakers across five stages, the event will bring together creators, publishers, advertisers, executives, technologists and media companies for two days of education, networking and business development across every corner of the podcast industry.

The 2026 program reflects the rapid evolution of podcasting into a multi-platform media business. On stage sessions will span audience growth, video strategy, AI, monetization, brand partnerships, journalism, creator businesses, production, community building and the future of podcast discovery.

Among this year’s featured speakers are leaders from some of the industry’s most influential organizations, including:

  • Greg Glenday (Acast) discussing new audience research in Own the Moment: Acast’s Podcast Pulse 2026 Reveals How Audiences Really Tune In.
  • Alex Goldmark (Planet Money, NPR) sharing how one of podcasting’s most beloved shows makes economics accessible to millions.
  • Tamara Zubatiy (Barometer) unpacking the latest updates in programmatic advertising.
  • Dan Fierman (Higher Ground Productions) discussing how podcasts can create lasting cultural conversations.
  • Ainsley Rossitto (beehiiv) on podcast communities and building audience trust.
  • Steven Goldstein (Amplifi Media) leading a live look inside Gen Z’s evolving media habits.
  • James Cridland (Podnews) looking back at podcasting’s history while examining where the industry is headed next.

The program also features sessions from leaders across CBC, WaitWhat, Lower Street, Signal Hill Insights, and dozens of independent creators who are redefining what success looks like in podcasting.

Additionally, the two days will feature keynote sessions, including new research unveiled from Sounds Profitable and presented by Partner Tom Webster.

“New York has always been where the biggest ideas in media take shape, so it was the natural place to evolve Podcast Movement,” said Bryan Barletta, Partner at Sounds Profitable and President of Podcast Movement. “Every change we’ve made this year was intentional. We’ve redesigned the event so creators, publishers, brands, agencies, and technology leaders are spending time with the people they actually need to meet. That same thinking shaped our speaker lineup. We put the program back into the hands of the industry through community voting and an independent selection committee, ensuring the conversations on stage reflect what podcasting wants and needs to be talking about right now.”

With programming designed for creators launching their first show, established publishers scaling businesses, enterprise media companies, brands, agencies and technology providers, Podcast Movement remains the industry’s premier destination to learn what is working now and what’s next.

In addition to two days of programming, every Podcast Movement registration also includes access to the official IAB Podcast Upfront After Party on Wednesday, September 16 at Terminal 5. This year’s celebration will feature a live performance of Hangin’ with Dr. Z with guests including comedians Sam Morril and Dave Hill, with additional special guests to be announced.

Registration is now open. Visit https://2026.podcastmovement.com/ to view the growing agenda.
