La Base, Nadie sabe nada, Días Extraños y Vivir y morir en Gaza, among the winners of the iVoox Awards 2025
The leading Spanish-language podcast platform, iVoox, has held the eighth edition of its Audience Awards in a gala marked by recognition of independent podcasts and a significant increase in participation from podcasters and listeners. Hosted by actresses and podcasters Esti Gabilondo and Bárbara Goenaga, creators of ¿Te quedas a leer? and Señoras con Visón, the ceremony brought together the 17 award winners, led this year by La Base, Pablo Iglesias’s political analysis podcast; Nadie sabe nada, where Andreu Buenafuente and Berto Romero improvise on life; Días Extraños, in which Santiago Camacho explores the greatest mysteries of history; and Vivir y morir en Gaza, where Almudena Ariza and Raúl Incertis narrate firsthand the humanitarian tragedy in the Gaza Strip.
At the iVoox Awards, the community is the true protagonist, as it is a unique competition where the audience chooses the winners by voting for their favorite podcasts. This year’s reception has been a great success, with the eighth edition breaking records with over 1,500 participating podcasts and more than 300,000 votes from 80,000 listeners, cementing the iVoox Awards as a benchmark for Spanish-language podcasts.
Likewise, to celebrate the role of independent podcasts in driving Spanish-language audio, the gala dedicated a special segment to projects that keep the original essence of the medium alive, highlighting their commitment, authenticity, and creative freedom. During the ceremony, the growth of the sector and the establishment of initiatives that connect with their communities through closeness and narrative innovation were particularly emphasized.

Awards to Boost Spanish-Language Podcasts
The gala, held in a hybrid format from the BCN Media Hub studio, brought together all the award winners in an edition that reinforced the community spirit of the awards. It also once again highlighted iVoox’s role as a meeting point for Spanish-language podcasts, showcasing the talent and creative diversity shaping the present and future of audio.
The iVoox Awards were launched in 2018 with a single recognition and a clear idea: to allow the audience to reward their favorite creators and give visibility to projects that deserved a larger platform. Over time, the platform has preserved this essence and established a benchmark competition to promote Spanish-language podcasting, expanding categories and fostering an increasingly active and connected community.
Juan Ignacio Solera, founder of iVoox, highlights, “Every year we see the community grow and strengthen, and this edition confirms the value of independent podcasts as a creative driving force in the sector. At iVoox, we continue working to provide creators with a sustainable and open environment, where they can develop their projects and connect with an audience that wants to listen to and support them.”
