Buzzsprout Updates Embed Player with New Styles, Colors, and Episode Controls
Buzzsprout has updated its podcast embed player with new color options, three player styles, and a redesigned customizer. The changes give podcasters more control over how their player looks and which episodes they share on their websites.
The new customizer brings player settings, episode selection, a preview, and embed code together on one screen. Podcasters can check how their player looks on desktop or mobile before copying the code for their website.
Podcasters can choose a preset color or enter their own brand color. Light mode uses that color as an accent on a white background, while Color mode fills the player with the chosen color.
The player now offers three beautiful styles:
- Wave keeps the familiar waveform.
- Bar uses a progress bar with chapter markers.
- Circle is a clean design with a large play button.
Podcasters can still embed a single episode or multiple episodes. For a player with multiple episodes, they can now select which episodes to include, filter by creator or tag, and choose how episodes are sorted. These controls make it easier to share a collection of episodes about a single topic or feature a recurring guest.
