Audioboom Posts Record Q3, Cementing Status as a Profitable Podcast Powerhouse

Audioboom, the leading global podcast company, today announced record third quarter results while cementing its leadership in both audio and video podcasting.

Audioboom delivered revenue of $20.4 million and profit of $1.2 million in Q3, representing an 18% increase year-on-year and highlighting the impact of the company’s rapid expansion.

Audioboom’s landmark quarter was fueled by global growth and strong advertiser demand. The Audioboom Creator Network now delivers more than 135 million downloads and views each month, while brand advertisers surged to a record 10.058, a 22% year-on-year increase. With more than $79 million in advertising revenue already secured for the full year, Audioboom is positioned for its strongest quarter yet to close out the year.

The quarter also marked a milestone in the UK, where Audioboom completed the acquisition and integration of Adelicious, creating the country’s second-largest podcast network. The addition of Adelicious inventory powered record results for Showcase, Audioboom’s dynamic advertising marketplace, which continues to connect advertisers with premium podcast audiences at scale.

Audioboom further cemented its leadership in the fast-growing video podcast sector as it ranked #1 on Podscribe’s video chart in the US. Today, over 13% of Audioboom’s overall business comes from video revenue, and the network is home to 12 of the top 100 video podcasts in the US.

The company also surpassed $325 million in cumulative payments to creators, powering more than 8,000 podcasters around the world. To support its next phase of growth, Audioboom appointed Craig Eastwood as Vice President, International, a new role focused on expansion strategies and partnerships outside the US and UK.
