Press Release · Manchester, UK · via Audio Always ·

Audio Always, one of the UK’s biggest independent audio production companies, is celebrating four brand new podcasts joining its network, alongside a new content leadership team and studios in Media City, Manchester.

Since launching thirteen years ago, Audio Always has gone on to develop and deliver some of the biggest podcasts in the UK, including ‘Help I Sexted My Boss’, ‘Secret Mum Club’ and the multiple award nominated ‘The Pitcairn Trials’. The Audio Always Original podcast slate spans multiple genres and includes always-on podcasts, limited series and branded commissions. Audio Always also produces high-profile BBC shows including ‘Craig Charles’, ‘Chris Hawkins’ and ‘Radcliffe Maconie’ for BBC Radio 6 Music; ‘Paddy McGuinness’, ‘Good Morning Sunday’ and ‘OJ Borg’ for BBC Radio 2 alongside shows for the brand new DAB+ station BBC Radio 1 Anthems and ‘Life Hacks’ for BBC Radio 1.

Coming hot on the heels of launching ‘Get A Grip’ with Angela Scanlon and Vicky Pattison is brand new Audio Always Originals podcast, featuring actors and comedians Joe Thomas and James Buckley. Launched on September 23rd and aptly titled ‘Joe and James Fact Up’, the weekly comedy podcast comes a decade after the duo shot to the comedy hall of fame for their roles in The Inbetweeners. Also launching with Audio Always is ‘The Jack & Ash Show’ from Jack Remmington and Ash Holme, which arrives with new acquisition ‘The Girls Bathroom’, completing a duo of new Audio Always podcasts represented by talent agency YMU. In early October Audio Always will also launch ‘You Don’t Know You’re Born’ hosted by Danny Miller, Brooke Vincent and Wingman.

The podcasts will be executively produced by Pete Linney and Ben Cartwright who, alongside Sam Davies, form part of the new leadership team at Audio Always. Sam will oversee commissions from BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 6 Music and the British Council. All together, Ben, Sam and Pete assume the roles of Content Directors and will sit alongside Paul Fernley, Business Development Director and Amelia Collingwood, Operations Director under Stuart Morgan, Founder and Managing Director of Audio Always.

“It’s a very, very exciting time here at Audio Always”, says Stuart. “The new studios in Manchester, together with the new podcasts and team means that Audio Always is a real powerhouse of audio creativity. We’re fiercely proud of the award-winning content we produce and we know that the new leadership team will only make our commercial and creative offering go from strength-to-strength.”
