About Audio Always
Audio Always is an independent production company developing and producing podcasts, radio programmes and audiobooks. We deliver more than 500 hours of audio content each month across a range of genres for listeners worldwide.
Our work includes the weekly podcasts ‘Help I Sexted My Boss’, ‘The Girls Bathroom’, ‘Get A Grip’ and ‘UK True Crime’. We also deliver factual series, with our recent releases ‘Answers For Claudia’, ‘The Pitcairn Trials’ and ‘Carrie Jade Does Not Exist’ all reaching number one in the Apple Podcasts chart.
We also produce daily, weekly and ad hoc radio programmes including Craig Charles for BBC Radio 6 Music, Paddy McGuiness and OJ Borg for BBC Radio 2, Life Hacks for BBC Radio 1 and Selector Radio for The British Council.
Launched in 2012, Audio Always is proudly headquartered at Media City, Manchester with studios in Farringdon, London.

- Jun 16: The British Podcast Awards 2025’s Listeners’ Choice Award is now open for public voting. Last year’s winner was Help I Sexted My Boss from Audio Always.
- May 15: In the UK, audio and radio industry awards The ARIAS announced the 2025 winners. The awards are mostly for radio stations; but gold winners included the podcast Dead River from Audio Always for Best Commercial Partnership; and the inaugural UK Audio Brand of the Year 2025 went to podcast company Goalhanger, which produces (among many others) The Rest is Politics with Alastair Campbell (pictured above) and Rory Stewart. Tony Pastor, the company’s co-founder, told us that the award “proves there’s still a huge appetite for long-form, intelligent content delivered in an entertaining way.”
- Nov 19, 2024: My Mate Bought A Toaster has joined the Audio Always originals network. The show chats with celebrities about their Amazon purchase history, and the stories behind some of the purchases there. The show is hosted by Tom Price.
- Nov 12, 2024: Head Number 7 is new everywhere from Wondery and Audio Always today. The series delves into the macabre case of Cedric Lodge, the former head of the mortuary at Harvard Medical School, who was accused of a shocking and gruesome crime. It's presented by Professor Turi King, a presenter and forensic genealogist who specialises in unlocking the secrets held in human remains and solving ancient cold cases.
- Oct 2, 2024: Audio Always has launched Always True Crime, a true crime podcast recommendation hub.
