Acast and Kit Partner to Fuel Creator Expansion Across Podcasts and Newsletters

Acast and Kit Partner to Fuel Creator Expansion Across Podcasts and Newsletters

Press Release · New York City, NY, United States · via Acast ·

Acast and Kit today announced a partnership designed to help creators build and monetize their audiences across multiple formats. By offering platform access and hosting incentives, the collaboration lowers the barrier to entry for podcasters looking to launch newsletters and newsletter creators looking to expand into audio.

The partnership reflects how storytelling has evolved beyond a single platform. By pairing audio and text, Acast and Kit give creators the infrastructure to expand their narrative influence and monetize everywhere - meeting fans in their inboxes as effortlessly as their podcast feeds.

It’s the latest step in Acast’s push to help creators grow and monetize across audio, video, social and beyond, following the launch of video publishing on Apple Podcasts and Acast’s acquisition of creator network Backyard Ventures earlier this month.

Mike Leonard, Senior Director, Global Content Development, at Acast said: “The reach and influence of our creators spans far beyond podcasting, now living in video, on social feeds, and beyond. Newsletters, for example, have proven to be an impactful medium for diversifying content, discovering new audiences, and cultivating a following of engaged subscribers outside of podcasting.

The reverse is just as powerful for newsletter writers: adding a podcast turns text into dynamic audio, opening up a whole new way to build a following. We’re excited to partner with Kit to give creators even more ways to grow and monetize their fandom.”

Nathan Barry, Founder and CEO of Kit said: “Email is still one of the best ways for creators to own the relationship with their audience. While people won’t read more than a few hundred words from their inbox, they’ll happily listen to a podcast directly into their ear for an hour. Our partnership with Acast makes it easy for creators to build both, so the audience creators own in the inbox is the same one listening to creators in their headphones.”

Creators who join through the partnership will receive sign-on offers that scale with their existing audience. To learn more about the Acast/Kit partnership, visit: Acast and Kit.
