An arts podcast from APT Podcast Studios

Everything we eat has a story to tell. What does our food say about who we are, where we come from, and about the way we live? How does it help us connect with neighbors and understand foreign cultures? Aside from being delicious, why do we care so much about food?
American Public Television (APT) – the public media home of acclaimed lifestyle series like America’s Test Kitchen and The Best of the Joy of Painting with Bob Ross – has launched APT Podcast Studios with their first original production: If This Food Could Talk, history for everyone who eats. We take a look into the world’s pantry and come back with incredible stories.
Each episode, Mediterranean lifestyle expert Claudia Hanna – founder of Athena’s Bump and creator of the Live Like a Goddess brand – travels the globe to offer savory (and sound-rich) stories of how much food means and has meant to all of us, with stories ranging from the million-dollar ice-cream-making barge that was deployed by the US Navy during WWII, to the olive oil used to mummify Egyptian royalty.

Dynamic content insertion: Megaphone may use limited data that they know about you - the device you’re using, the approximate location you’re in, or other data that can be derived from this, like the current weather forecast for your area - to change parts of the audio. If This Food Could Talk may do this for advertising or for other forms of content, like news stories.

If This Food Could Talk is able to use the above tools since its podcast host or measurement company offers this service. It doesn’t mean that this individual podcast uses them, or has access to this functionality. We use open data.

Get a universal link is a so-called universal link: it will automatically open Google Podcasts on Android phones, Apple Podcasts on iOS devices, or this page. Both Apple Podcasts and the Google Podcasts player are pre-installed on every phone.

A QR code to this URL is a great way to share your podcast. You’ll find a QR code at the top of this page on desktop. It’s particularly ideal for business cards, posters or conventions.

But - you are always better to fully control your own podcast and not rely on any third-party - even us. So, here’s the code to add a universal link to your own website. Copy/paste this HTML into a new file on your website, and link to that instead.
