Magtens Kvinder
Stærke kvinder har formet Danmark sammen med magtfulde mænd. Men deres historier er ukendt for mange. I historieskrivningen har de stået i kongens skygge og er kun sjældent kendt uden for forskerkredse. I Magtens Kvinder tager journalist Micha Fuglede og seniorforsker på Nationalmuseet Lisbeth Imer på road trip gennem danmarkshistorien, hvor de danske dronninger får en stemme. De kaster lys på udvalgte dronninger og magtfulde kvinder og undersøger, hvilken betydning de havde for Danmark, og hvad vi kan lære af dem i dag. Hør for eksempel om Christian 4.s stenrige mor, om Margrethe Fredkulla, som sandsynligvis skabte fred i et Game of Thrones-agtigt samfund i 1100-tallet og om Margrete 1., middelalderens mest magtfulde kvinde i Nordeuropa. Undervejs møder de magtfulde kvinder fra vores tid, både erhvervskvinder som Mia Wagner og politikere som Pia Kjærsgaard, Margrethe Vestager og Helle Thorning-Schmidt.
