Ethische Probleme der Stammzellforschung (Audio)

In der ethischen Diskussion um die Stammzellforschung steht die Frage nach dem experimentellen Umgang mit embryonalen Stammzellen im Mittelpunkt: Dürfen embryonale Stammzellen und damit Frühformen menschlichen Lebens manipuliert oder gar zerstört werden? Diese Frage ist deshalb kompliziert, da es hier nicht nur um ethische Begründungen geht, sondern vor allem auch darum, ob embryonale Stammzellen überhaupt Gegenstände ethischer Begründungen sein können und wenn ja, in welcher Hinsicht. Im Vortrag werden die Zusammenhänge zwischen philosophischer Ethik und ihren anthropologischen Voraussetzungen dargelegt und davon ausgehend die Bedingungen angegeben, denen eine vernünftige Antwort auf die gestellte Frage gehorchen muss.
