A project or contract Development Producer position
Fully remote: working with a UK-based team at What's the Story? Sounds.

What’s the Story? Sounds (www.whatsthestorysounds.com) is expanding, and we’re looking to hear from Development Producers with experience in finding compelling long-form narrative series ideas, winning access and shaping content.

The right candidate will have already held a development position, and won commissions. They'll have a journalistic instinct, and an eye for a story, be confident winning access and producing eye-catching development decks.

They'll be a competent self-starter with a passion for story-telling and a thorough knowledge of the podcast landscape, commissioning needs, and trends. They'll know what makes a thrilling narrative series, and how to find those ingredients. And they'll be skilled at turning a germ of an idea into a fully formed proposal.

As a key team member they'll be expected to have creative input across the business. They'll be tasked with generating a regular flow of new ideas and projects, responding to commissioning briefs, forging relationships with talent and agents, and have the resilience and energy to keep driving forwards.
