Podcast Marketing Assistant

Join the Paramount podcast team as a Podcast Marketing Assistant. In this contract role, you'll play a crucial part in growing, sustaining, and engaging Paramount podcast audiences. Reporting to the Senior Director of Podcast Marketing, you'll collaborate with brand marketing leads across various brands including CBS, CBS Sports, CBS News, Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon, and Paramount Studios.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute podcast marketing campaigns designed to sustain and grow audiences across Paramount's podcast portfolio.
- Produce promotional graphics and write copy for social media, web, and other digital marketing channels.
- Coordinate with Paramount social media teams to find and leverage opportunities for podcast promotion.
- Conduct market research to inform marketing activities.
- Ensure our podcast content is optimally presented in various podcasting and streaming applications.
- Track and compile podcast performance data to assess marketing campaign effectiveness.
- Prepare award submissions for podcasts to help increase visibility and recognition.
- Maintain organized records of marketing assets.
- Monitor, track, and report on promotional coverage (podcast app features, press, etc.) of Paramount Podcasts.
- Support with compiling podcast after-action reports to assess marketing campaign effectiveness.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and inclusion within the Paramount Podcast Team and the wider organization.
REQUIREMENTS
- 1-2 years of experience in marketing, ideally direct experience with podcasting or audio products.
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines efficiently.
- Strong writing skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Highly organized and analytical, with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively across all functions and levels of the organization.
- A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
- Passionate about podcasts and the audio space.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred.
