We’re looking for an experienced Booker to manage all guest booking and coordination across two high-profile weekly podcasts:

We Can Do Hard Things, the award-winning, chart-topping podcast hosted by Glennon Doyle, Abby Wambach, and Amanda Doyle. It is one of the most beloved and top-performing podcasts in the world, with more than a half a billion plays since it launched as the #1 podcast on Apple.

A bold new women’s sports podcast hosted by Abby Wambach and Julie Foudy - forever teammates, beloved soccer legends, and loyal friends. It is a smart, joyful, high-energy celebration of the power and community of women’s sports, launching in September with two episodes per week - and featuring the iconic Billie Jean King as a regular contributor.
This role is ideal for someone organized, detail-driven, and people-savvy - a clear communicator who can juggle moving parts, manage high-profile guests with care, and make every booking feel smooth, thoughtful, and on-message. You’ll play a key role in the production pipeline, working closely with hosts and producers to ensure each guest appearance runs professionally and on schedule.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead guest booking across both shows - including outreach, scheduling, confirmations, calendar coordination, and follow-up
- Maintain strong industry relationships and stay attuned to both long-lead promotional calendars (film, TV, music, books, sports) and timely cultural moments (politics, entertainment, sports) in order to proactively suggest guests who align with the shows’ values and feel relevant to what’s happening now
- Liaise directly with guest teams (publicists, managers, agents) to handle all pre-recording prep - including tech setup (if remote), schedule coordination, and briefing on episode themes or talking points
- Collect and organize all guest assets - including headshots, bios, media kits, and other relevant materials
- Manage and distribute guest release forms, ensuring timely completion and accurate documentation
- Maintain a clear and up-to-date booking tracker and provide ongoing updates on guest status
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience booking talent for TV, podcasts, and/or digital media
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Impeccable attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple bookings simultaneously
- Professionalism and discretion when dealing with talent and their teams
- Familiarity with tools like Google Calendar, Airtable, DocuSign, and Zoom
- Working knowledge of We Can Do Hard Things and sports media
