Production Manager
A full time Production Coordinator position at The Holy Post, Wheaton Illinois, USA
Salary range: $44,000 to $60,000 (yearly rate) - subject to experience plus Health Insurance and 401K

The Holy Post is a top Christian Podcast that has been producing thoughtful Christian podcasts for 10 years. We are committed to presenting a positive vision of life with God in a post Christian culture, and having fun while doing it.
Overview The producer will work closely with the CEO, Holy Post hosts, and independent contractors to produce high quality, thoughtful Christian content. This currently includes the production of weekly 90 minute Flagship episodes, plus an additional 5 shorter episodes per month. We intend to significantly increase our programming and the producer role will participate in the launching of new programming that will include video and written work in addition to podcasts.
Responsibilities Production
- Content
- Partner with hosts and CEO to develop content plans for existing Holy Post shows. (Flagship podcast, French Friday, Christian Asks,Getting Schooled with Kaitlyn Schiess)
- Lead production meetings
- Schedule guests
- Project Management
- Manage the daily deadlines needed to get each episode over the finish line
- Work closely with editor to
- ensure high quality sound and video content
- distribute content on YouTube, all major podcast platforms, and Patreon.
- Gain working knowledge of all programs used by The Holy Post
- Riverside, Descript, Libsyn, Advertisecast, YouTube, Patreon, Wix, Printful
- Assist the podcast hosts with recording of voiced commercial campaigns

Strategy
- Partner with teammates to develop strategies for launching new programming consistent with the mission and goals of The Holy Post.
- Partner with teammates to grow the audience and influence of The Holy Post
- Marketing
- Partner with teammates and contractors to ensure that the marketing team has the assets needed.
Administration
- Working with the ad sales team to provide needed reporting.
Qualifications
- Belief in the mission of creating thoughtful Christian content that is consistent with Holy Post values listed below.
- Attention to Detail.
- Appetite for learning new systems and strategies in the podcast industry.
- Work well in fast paced environments.
- Flexibility to work well in a changing environment as the company grows.
- The ability to work well with and maintain relationships with multiple parties including; CEO, hosts, and independent contractors.
- Podcast production experience is beneficial but not essential.
- Problem solving skills.
- Able to multitask and manage multiple priorities.
Working Environment The producer will need to live and work in Chicagoland. There is an expectation of time spent at The Holy Post office and in team meetings, but some work done remotely is also acceptable.
While this role is set for normal work hours, it also requires flexibility and openness to weekend and after-hours work
Compensation: Salary to be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and alignment with market data.
